What it stands for
A human-first approach to AI adoption: open, fair, deliberate, and grounded in the relationship between an organisation and the people it serves.
A public commitment for leaders who want to adopt AI in a way that keeps people ahead of process.
Yulia co-founded the Human-First Responsible AI Pledge with Mitali Deypurkaystha and Pascal Fintoni in 2025.
The pledge is a short, values-grounded framework. It asks those who sign it to use AI openly and fairly, to put people first, and to make deliberate choices about where AI helps and where it doesn't. It isn't a certification or a rulebook. It's a statement of intent that you can hold yourself to, and that the people you serve can hold you to as well.
Yulia helped write it because of the question she keeps coming back to in her own work: every AI decision is a trust decision in disguise. The pledge puts that idea into words a leadership team can stand behind.
A human-first approach to AI adoption: open, fair, deliberate, and grounded in the relationship between an organisation and the people it serves.
Leaders, founders and organisations who want to use AI in a way that protects trust, strengthens judgement and keeps people ahead of process.
If that's how you want to use AI in your organisation, you can add your name and the name of your company to the pledge.
